Marketing in a Recession Workshop

• More details/How to Book: Delivered in conjuction with Cornwall Chamber of Commerce. Chartered Marketer Sue Windley, Marketing Director of the Pragmatic Performance Group, will lead this taster workshop to look at the areas of marketing covered in the 16th September presentation at the Chamber breakfast in greater depth, drilling down into the subject to provide participants with practical hints, tips and tools to use in their own business context.
Background theories will be blended into pragmatic approaches to help you develop your marketing in a recession. At the end of the workshop, participants will have the tools to:
- see the different ways we can communicate with customers – and which ones are the most suited to the participant’s individual business
- understand how customers think – and how to adapt our message to get them to say yes more quickly
- know what makes an effective media release – and how to get our businesses promoted for free!
- understand the effects of experiential marketing – creating long-lasting and loyal customer relationships.
Each participant will go away with an action plan to initiate marketing activities that will promote their business. Sue will ensure these action plans are followed up (there will be an offer of a telephone or on-site coaching session in the participant’s workplace free of consultancy charge).
In addition, should participants be interested in further business and marketing training and consultancy, there is funding available (subject to certain criteria) that PPG Ltd can access on behalf of their clients.
